Meet The Team

Cornerstone is a non-denominational, fundamental church. Non-denominational means people from all backgrounds are welcomed to worship with us, and we are not affiliated with a particular Christian denomination. Fundamental means we believe in and are founded on the absolute truth of the Bible. All our beliefs and teachings are from the Holy Scripture as our authority for everything we teach and do. If it’s in the Bible, we believe it and teach it.

Our governmental structure is episcopal rather than presbyterian or congregational. This is not to suggest an affiliation with the Episcopal denomination. Rather, this means our hierarchical structure is “from God to the pastor to the leaders to the people.” Our goal is to keep the government of the church as simple as possible so the work of God is not hindered by bureaucracy. We have many lay leaders who assist the pastor and assistant pastor in performing the functions and leadership of the church.

Senior Pastor

Reverend Doctor Stephen White

Reverend Doctor Stephen White is our senior and founding pastor. Pastor Stephen has served God in various roles including pastor, teacher, and counselor for 40 years. In 2013 God led him and his wife, Jeanne, along with others to begin Cornerstone Church as a place where people can experience God, learn the Bible, and be embraced in a loving Christian environment.

Pastor Stephen has several degrees including a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministries, a master’s degree in Counseling, a master’s degree in Teaching, and a doctoral degree in Leadership. He has always been eager to be used by God to help others in their development and journey to be all God has called them to be.

Sister Jeanne was an occupational therapist for 25 years before her retirement. Sister Jeanne is a powerful intercessor who loves God, people, and animals. Her warm, loving, and friendly disposition is appreciated by all who meet her.

Assistant Minister

Lorane Gatlin

Sister Lorane is the coordinator of all children’s and youth ministries as well as coordinator of Cornerstone Food Bank, coordinator of Small Groups, and co-coordinator of Cornerstone Celebrate Recovery. She has a powerful testimony of God’s deliverance and restoration, and she is an anointed speaker and teacher who energetically uses her gifts in the church and community.
